Benjamin Button

I have to say... I did enjoy the film. There were some clichés, there are some slower moments but there are also some phylosophical reflections which make us think about the precious moments we get to have with the ones we love. There's a bit of the war, a bit of the 60's, a bit of Brad Pitt looking like James Dean... let me get my breath back...there's a magnificent Cate Blanchett (there's something about these Australians, no man's land, away from it all, a desert and scorching land that gives birth to pearls such as this one, the lost Heath Ledger, Russel Crowe, Geoffrey Rush...). I know neither or them is going to win the Oscar - Brad Pitt is still too handsome to be talented. Poor DiCaprio suffers from the same problem. It seems beautiful women can have it both ways. Handsome men can't have it all. I guess I was about time. The photography of the film is really beautiful and the sets are delicious. It has a nice view about old age. People who we can learn something from and not mere waste.
