Sometimes we feel we can plan every detail in our life. To go left or right is simpler to choose, when there's a sign indicating the destination. When there's not, uncertainty lies ahead. Either one takes a chance and ventures into the unknown or one goes back and finds a path with signs on it. When venturing, there is always the risk of losing time, worning out our shoes and body, increasing our anxiety due to the lack of compass. There might also be nice surprises ahead... but then, it's always uncertain. If one goes back and looks for another path, we might not find such an appealing and tempting one, but we know where we're heading. Again, signs can also be misleading and incorrect... but our pace is stronger and faster. When heart tells us to move forward and reason advises on to a safer path... maybe one should...
