I am starting a new year. In a great school this time. So everyone says.
As usual, there is a big mess in the first week so I am obliged to do what most Portuguese people do when this happens: "desenrascar-me". I manage. I always do. However, it is not a nice feeling. It's as if you're in the middle of the ocean, after a ship wreck. The only thing is, everyone else is in the lifeboats and I'm in the water. It takes a while before someone gives you a hand and saves you from hipothermia. Until then, I swim, and swim and swim...

"Desenrascar": here is a very nice portuguese word and action. Where would we be without it?
